Jahre 2017 durch eine Initiative der Plattform FOREL und im Auftrag der NPE gegr\u00fcndet. Unter Beteiligung namhafter Akteure aus Industrie und Wissenschaft werden regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Treffen organisiert, wobei die F\u00f6rderung eines offenen und unabh\u00e4ngigen Austauschs zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit im Vordergrund steht. Zu den Aktivit\u00e4ten geh\u00f6rt u.a. ein kontinuierlicher Austausch in unterschiedlichen Arbeitsgruppen, die Durchf\u00fchrung von Studien sowie die gemeinsame Initiierung von Forschungsprojekten zur Schlie\u00dfung technologisch-wissenschaftlicher L\u00fccken im Bereich der Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung. Der Runde Tisch LCA strebt an, einen wesentlichen Beitrag zu einem verl\u00e4sslichen und fairen Vergleich verschiedener Leichtbauwerkstoffe und Prozesse zu leisten, wobei ausdr\u00fccklich auch End-of-Life Szenarien und das Schlie\u00dfen der Stoffkreisl\u00e4ufe adressiert werden. Der offene Austausch zwischen den deutschen Leichtbauclustern Composites United, Open Hybrid Lab Factory, ARENA2036 und FOREL stellt hierf\u00fcr eine wesentliche Grundlage dar. Verb\u00e4nde aus Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft haben sich auf ein <a href=\"https:\/\/tu-dresden.de\/tu-dresden\/newsportal\/ressourcen\/dateien\/downloads\/20180626_Positionspapier_LCA_lang.pdf\">Positionspapier<\/a> zur Bedeutung des ganzheitlichen Life Cycle Engineerings (LCE) f\u00fcr zuk\u00fcnftige Leichtbaul\u00f6sungen verst\u00e4ndigt. Verfasst wurde das Papier vom Runden Tisch \u201eLife Cycle Assessment (LCA)\u201c unter der Federf\u00fchrung der Plattform FOREL und Beteiligung der Cluster MAI Carbon, Open Hybrid LabFactory und ARENA 2036.<\/p>\n<p>Im Rahmen eines Besuchs desMinisterialdirigenten Dr. Herbert Zeisel, zust\u00e4ndig f\u00fcr Schl\u00fcsseltechnologien f\u00fcr Wachstum beim Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), am Institut f\u00fcr Leichtbau und Kunststofftechnik (ILK) der TU Dresden wurde das Positonspapier an das BMBF \u00fcbergeben.<\/p>\n<p>Ressourceneffizienz nimmt eine wichtige Schl\u00fcsselrolle im nachhaltigen Leichtbau ein, so die Feststellung der Verfasser, zu denen sowohl OEM als auch Zulieferer, Materialhersteller und Forschungseinrichtungen geh\u00f6ren. Zur Fertigung leistungsf\u00e4higer Strukturbauteile sind innovative Materialien und die Entwicklung neuer Fertigungstechnologien dringend geboten. Leichtbauwerkstoffe werden dabei zunehmend in Mischbauweisen eingesetzt, was erh\u00f6hte Funktionsintegration erm\u00f6glicht und damit die Erreichbarkeit der geforderten Eigenschaften erleichtert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Umweltfaktoren von der Wiege bis zur Bahre ber\u00fccksichtigen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unstrittig ist, dass eine verringerte Bauteilmasse unmittelbar zur Senkung des Energiebedarfs in der Nutzungsphase f\u00fchrt. Um eine vollst\u00e4ndige Bilanzierung bereitzustellen, m\u00fcssen jedoch die Umweltbelastungen in allen Lebensphasen des Produktes ber\u00fccksichtigt werden. Demnach ist eine fundierte Analyse der Rohstoffgewinnung und der Verbr\u00e4uche von der Produktion bis hin zum Recycling und Wiedereinsatz von Leichtbaustrukturen notwendig. Hierzu fehlen nach heutigem Stand jedoch noch Daten und Methodenwissen, das nur durch eine werkstoff- und prozess\u00fcbergreifende Zusammenarbeit bereitgestellt werden kann.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft machen Handlungsbedarf deutlich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Verfasser des Positionspapiers regen eine st\u00e4rkere politische Unterst\u00fctzung des LCE an, um die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit des Standortes Deutschlands sicherzustellen. Der Trend zum Multi-Material-Design sowie zum Einsatz kombinierter Fertigungsverfahren ist ungebrochen. Daraus ergeben sich immense Herausforderungen sowohl f\u00fcr die umweltgerechte Konstruktion als auch f\u00fcr die Altautoverwertung am Ende des Produktlebenszyklus.<\/p>\n<p>Aus diesem Anlass haben die Leichtbau-Spitzencluster <a href=\"https:\/\/carbon-composites.eu\/de\/netzwerk\/abteilungen\/mai-carbon\/?pk_campaign=www.mai-carbon.de&#038;pk_kwd=\/\">MAI Carbon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arena2036.de\/de\/\">ARENA 2036<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/open-hybrid-labfactory.de\/\">Open Hybrid Lab Factory<\/a> sowie die <a href=\"http:\/\/plattform-forel.de\/\">Plattform FOREL<\/a> einen Runden Tisch zum Thema Life Cycle Assessment im Leichtbau ins Leben gerufen. Am 30. M\u00e4rz trafen sich erstmals Experten aus Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft am Institut f\u00fcr Leichtbau und Kunststofftechnik (ILK) in Dresden, um Ankn\u00fcpfungspunkte f\u00fcr gemeinsame Aktivit\u00e4ten zu identifizieren.<\/p>\n<p>Die offene Diskussion offenbarte, dass die zentrale Fragestellung insbesondere in der Definition einer einheitlichen Vorgehensweise bei der Durchf\u00fchrung der Lebenszyklusanalyse liegt. \u201eDiese Aufgabe wird dadurch erschwert, dass gerade f\u00fcr neue Werkstoffe und Fertigungstechnologien die notwendigen validierten Daten fehlen, um eine fundierte Bilanzierung durchzuf\u00fchren\u201c, so <a href=\"mailto:maik.gude@tu-dresden.de\">Prof. Maik Gude<\/a> vom ILK der TU Dresden.
